Simple expectations protect your date, your experience, and the time our team sets aside to create with you.
Session deposit
A 20% deposit is required for non-wedding sessions. It is applied to your total balance and your date is not reserved until payment is completed. Because the team immediately sets aside this time, the deposit is nonrefundable.
Rescheduling
One reschedule is permitted when requested at least 72 hours before your session, subject to availability. Requests made within 72 hours, a second reschedule, or a missed session may require a new deposit.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time by emailing us. The deposit remains nonrefundable; any amount paid beyond the deposit will be handled according to your service agreement and work already performed.
Service area & travel fees
Session pricing covers the Greater Sacramento area. Sessions outside this area are subject to an additional travel fee, which will be added to your final invoice. Travel fees are separate from the listed session price and booking deposit. VERSE will confirm the applicable fee with you once your session location is agreed upon.
Remaining balance
Your deposit is credited toward the full session investment. Remaining-balance timing, location, preparation, travel, add-ons, and delivery details will be confirmed in your service agreement and follow-up from VERSE.
Weddings
Wedding collections are inquiry-only and use a personalized agreement and retainer. The terms in that agreement control your wedding booking.
